Ben had a lot of instability (i.e. weakness in his ability to control his body) throughout his body despite being active and doing regular strength training. He worked with Coach Katrina using MAT™ to address his instabilities (which also improved his mobility and BJJ skill) and also worked with Coach Katrina through her Intentional Strength program to create a strength training program that was customized to his needs.
Ben was most impressed by his new ability to feel his core and access its strength in BJJ and everyday life. He had previously tried stretching, massage, and physical therapy - which he referred to as more 'relaxation' methods. He knew that working with ISP would be different because of its intentional, targeted, and 'active' approach.
