Jacquie

Massage Therapist

Needs:

  • Jacquie was having various repetitive movement joint pains from her job as a massage therapist
  • She wanted to become more active, specifically to start working out in the gym to lose weight, but was afraid of injuring herself or aggravating her current issues.

Summary

Jacquie was familiar with the benefits of muscle activation, but had not specifically experienced Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT). We first started talking about MAT because she wanted to refer her clients to a specialist who could compliment her massage therapy with a muscle activation element that could provide lasting relief for her clients.

After referring many of her clients to Intentional Sport Performance with great results, she began training with True Core herself for MAT and Rehabilitative Strength Training.

In the video below, Jacquie describes her impression of MAT from the view point of a massage therapist, and some of the benefits she experienced early into her training.
